The redesign of both the rear and front gardens for the newly refurbished flat in Hampstead presented an opportunity for a contemporary and seasonal approach. The design needed to harmonize with the existing London Plane trees, which were protected elements, and also required collaboration with neighbors on three sides of the rear garden.
Taking into consideration the clients' desire for a balance between greenery and entertaining space, the design incorporated a carefully curated mix of all-season plantings. To accommodate the request for a lawn, the layout was strategically planned to include a well-manicured lawn while ensuring ample space for various entertainment activities.
The collaborative efforts with neighbors ensured a cohesive and visually appealing design that seamlessly integrated with the surrounding environment. The result is a contemporary garden that not only enhances the aesthetics of the newly refurbished flat but also provides a versatile outdoor space catering to both aesthetic preferences and functional needs.
